Division 2

History

This season was our first season in division 2 where we ended up being in 5 th place, after we gained promotion last year. We also one the division 3 that year. 

The start of the season started of well, with a couple of new players on board, looking good in training and in Friendly's.

Quarter way through the season we lost Adam Kinsey and Ryan Weston who decided to go senior at minehead town and try to improve there football careers.

This was a big blow, as they were very good players. We also lost gary Head due to injury, which meant losing our captain who already scored 14 goals halfway through the season as a centre half was a big blow yet again.

Due to more injurys we had to sign more people on to make up bare 11 most weeks. With the injurys mounting and games coming thick and fast, we were losing a few games, which we would win on a normal day. Due to losing silly games, it cost us promotion to division one.

As a whole the season proved to be a good first year in the second divsion, where we had ups and downs. The club has come a long way in football and experience in this first year in division 2. 

We are now looking forward to next season to try and gain promotion to division 1.
