Staffs View	Mathew Washer plays as a centre forward and wing back and scores lots of goals for the club. Mathew has lots of pace to play in both postions, which lets him get up and back on the wings with pace to support the forwards, or direct route towards goal. Mathew also knows he has to defend when palying wing back and loves to win a tackle. get the ball and motor up the wing to get the all important cross into the box. Over the years Mathew’s style of football has shocked the manager, players and opponents. The somewhat odd ball control and ability to go around players with ease is a credit to the goal scoring machine. Mathew has had spells at senior football and achieved some good credit in doing so, but always knows his heart is with the almighty predators. Off the field Mathew is a freak with a very strange sense of humour, which we all love him for.

I do agree he is a freak, but a great all round player for the club.

Washer is quality on and of the ball,when not on the ball moves to space, when he is on the ball he tucks away a great finish.
